Welcome to MentorX. By using our application, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About MentorX

MentorX is an AI-powered mentor conversation application that allows users to engage in deep, meaningful conversations with AI personas modeled after famous historical and contemporary figures. Our services include:

One-on-one conversations with AI mentor personas
Roundtable discussions with multiple AI mentors
Requesting new mentor personas to be added
Viewing conversation history

Important: All mentor conversations are generated by artificial intelligence. The AI personas do not represent the actual views, opinions, or endorsements of the real individuals they are modeled after.

2. Account Registration

To use MentorX, you must sign in using Apple Sign-In. By creating an account, you confirm that:

You are at least 13 years of age
The information you provide is accurate
You are responsible for all activity under your account

3. Subscription & Payments

MentorX offers both free and premium (Pro) tiers:

Free Users: Up to 3 conversations per day with any mentor.

Pro Members: Unlimited conversations, Roundtable discussions, and the ability to request new mentors.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store
Available plans: Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly
Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store Account Settings at any time
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

4. Acceptable Use

When using MentorX, you agree not to:

Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to manipulate AI mentors to generate harmful, abusive, or misleading content
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application
Share your account credentials with others
Use automated tools to access the service

5. AI-Generated Content & Data Sharing

All responses from AI mentors are generated by artificial intelligence and should be treated as entertainment and inspiration, not as professional advice. Specifically:

AI mentor responses do not constitute financial, legal, medical, or professional advice
The accuracy of AI-generated content is not guaranteed
You should not rely solely on AI mentor responses for important decisions
The views expressed by AI personas are simulated and do not represent the actual individuals

Data Sharing: To generate AI responses, the text content of your messages is sent to Google Gemini (Google LLC) for processing. By using the chat feature, you consent to this data sharing. Your personal account information (Apple ID, email) is not shared with the AI service. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

The MentorX application, including its design, code, AI models, and content, is the intellectual property of the MentorX team. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our service without prior written consent.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion:

All your personal data and conversation history will be permanently removed
Active subscriptions should be canceled separately through the App Store
This action is irreversible

8. Limitation of Liability

MentorX is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated content.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of MentorX after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
